The Indy Star has an article entitled Panel OKs ‘In God We Trust’ plate. Since Rep. Burton has re-introduced old legislation, I’ll feel free to regurgitate one of my old blog posts.
Thank, um, God. House Bill
10291013 – The ‘In God We Trust’ License Plate passed the House Roads and Transportation Committee by a vote of89 – 3.7 – 1. Now, how many of those Representatives do you think really thought what the state really, really needed was an “In God We Trust” license plate, and how many of them do you think just didn’t want to be the person “voting against god”?
