Tippecanoe Politics ranks the websites of the candidates for Indiana’s 4th and 1st Congressional Districts.
The quick rundown:
IN-04: Buyer – D; Sanders – B+
IN-01: Visclosky – B-; Leyva – F.
I particularly enjoyed this passage about Mark Leyva’s website:
If the picture on the first page isn’t bad enough, the website itself looks like it was put together by a bunch of beer buddies. As for content, the first issue people see after clicking the issues button is “smoking†(seriously, I’m not joking).
Jason says
Hey Leyva! I found them! They must have fell off your page:
”””””””””””””””””””’
Oh, one more! ‘ You’re welcome.

So… I went to Visclosky’s website as I was curious to see what the “best rated” website looked like. Uh… am I missing something? I didn’t see anything about issues anywhere on the site?? And this rates a B-? Wish I had had this kind of grading scale when I was in school!
B Havens says
Sanders (who rated a B+) actually does have information on his site (but was rated only a small step above Visclosky’s??)

Fair enough. When we’re wrong we’re wrong. ‎
We thought Visclosky’s grade might be high, and you rightfully pointed this out. After taking ‎a second look at the website, we have decided to lower the score to C-.‎
More explanation is on our website. If you have not already done so, I encourage you to ‎‎take a look.‎
