HB 1391 – Certified Surgical Technologists. Rep. Reske. Prohibits an individual from professing to be a certified technical surigical technologist or use the initials “CST” unless the individual holds and maintains the Certified Surgical Technologist Credential administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).

Passed the House 94 to 0.

All you Central Time fans, beware! Declaring your position by signing your name on blog posts could soon subject you to tort claims from NBSTSA!
