It’s Friday night and . . . I’m a middle aged father of two little kids. So I’m doing nothing tonight. But I hope the rest of you are out whooping it up and having some fun. Maybe I’ll crack open one of my Samuel Smith Taddy Porters and live a little.

The Taddy is a fine brew. I had a Winter Welcome last weekend that I really liked, and those can be spotty. But this one was good.
Doug says
Thanks for the tip. I’m always on the look out for stuff I should try.

I’m making my usual wicked bottle of soy formula as we approach my daughter’s bedtime.
Doug says
Mmm, soy.
I’ve had my Taddy Porter. Now I might just get a little out of hand and watch ER on the TiVo with my wife.
I’m pretty sure this is what the Eagles had in mind when they wrote “Life in the Fast Lane.”

I just went to WLHS’s production of Into The Woods, great show and a decent job for a HS cast. And now I sit in the Vienna Cafe off campus.. alone reading your blog. So, pass the liquor.. regardless of quality, man.
Jason says
Mmm good choice in beer. If you liek porters you should find a rye ale out there. I am totally blanking onthe name of the one I had, but it’s got the weight of an ale but the taste of a porter. So yeah, rye beer .. highly recommended.

I’m not going to say a thing about how much you enjoy the deemon likker, Doug. :)
