(H/t Muncie Free Press) The Indiana Department of Workforce Development has highlights of various county data.
Each county highlight includes population, education, commuting, labor force, industry, income and firm size data, available by clicking on any county on the map.

Would be nice to see comparison data; a single page in which all counties are listed.
Doug says
I had that thought myself. Maybe a little something for you to do in your free time, Kenn. :-)

What would also be helpful is to see the comparison the county stats to the state as a whole. For instance, it has been my (easily drawn) contention that Tippecanoe county has the highest Asian concentration in Indiana. Not to mention higher than rural concentrations of educated people. (Ok, that’s drawn from my work on the west side of the Wabash.)
Interesting nonetheless, Doug.

Allen county has the most mexicans-I’d bet- but they arent counted, as well as lots of refugees being relocated here by our local catholic charities, flooding the job market with skill-less, english-illiterate, residents who get all kinds of government benefits; which many lifelong hoosiers arent eligible. When you live 20 to a trailer, or apartment, and $5 a month or week, $5 an hour seems like a fortune. Nothing against foreigners- its just the timing, and social costs to assimilate them all, which we cant afford at present.
Now if we could ever become like Las Vegas, we would have lots of translators to lead the tourists around, in their native languages.
but for now- its making a slow job market even worse.
