Barack Obama beat Hillary Clinton in the Wisconsin and Hawaii primaries. Hawaii wasn’t really on anyone’s radar and Obama was expected to win there without any real challenge. Wisconsin, however, was significant. Not only did Obama win, he won big. With 99% of the precincts reporting, Obama took 58% of the vote compared to Clinton’s 41% of the vote.
We’ll see what happens, but Ohio and Texas are starting to look less like firewalls for Clinton and more like last stands. I wouldn’t expect her to give up quietly though. Unfortunately, given who her advisers are, I expect the next couple of weeks to be a parade of negativity coming out of the Clinton camp.

Yeah, and they think they made up ground in the WI race due to charges of plagiarism and the Michelle Obama gaffe. I think this is a Ronald Reagan type candidate. Things just don’t stick to him as well. He is outside the proverbial box.

I just sent him $50.00. This is better than going out and doing something.
CNN cut her off last night mid-speech to switch to Obama. Ouch!
The Green Bay Gazette reported that Clinton’s decision to focus her efforts in other states probably cost her votes.
I also read there was a backlash from all her negative ads. The former President of Chicago NOW, Lorna Brett Howard, switched from Hillary to Obama when she got a direct mail piece Hillary produced that lied about Obama’s position on choice. Ms Howard worked in Chicago in 1990’s with Obama and knew Hillary’s ad was dishonest. She was offended and is getting very vocal.
Question is how does all this translate to Texas and Ohio? They are close in Texas and the Obama campaign is bussing people from Illinois to Ohio to canvas.
I was on the DNC site yesterday and am concerned about how strong the inter-party hate thing is.
He needs to win big in Texas and Ohio and force her to concede.
