I read somewhere recently that the Republican precinct chairs will be making sure that there aren’t any crossover voters. Is this legal? I thought we were allowed to ask for either ballot regardless of how we voted in the last primary.

I don’t get that either. As Mike has pointed out, we’re all paying for the primaries, so we should be able to vote for whomever we please.

Yeah, you can choose any ballot you want.. I have never been challenged. I vote for both parties, but always take a Rep ballot, til this year. The Dems rarely have any primary challengers.
