I appreciate the effort, but the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette seems to have gone above and beyond – going to the Kinsey Institute to evaluate a throw away article in Men’s Health giving Fort Wayne a high ranking in terms of the sexual satisfaction of its residents. Men’s Health took a look at condom sales, births, and sex toy sales to come up with a list of most sexually satisfied cities:
Most
1. Indianapolis
2. Columbus, Ohio
3. Fort Wayne
4. Cincinnati
5. Salt Lake City
I’m a subscriber to Men’s Health. No one is going to confuse it with a scientific journal. Nevertheless, the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette went to the Kinsey Institute which concluded that its findings were suspect. Shocking.

I don’t see how Cinti makes the list.
A) Most of their sex toy sales would have to be in KY because “Cinti doesn’t allow smut” (except for the grandfathered Hustler store, that I believe Larry Flynt subsidizes just to tweak the Cinti noses).
B) Cinti people tend to go to Columbus (OH) for a good time (see A, above).
And SLC?!? Satisified because they don’t know any better, maybe.
Ft. Wayne? These guys are killing me!
Gosh, I’d have to ask somebody before thinking the ranking were bogus. Journalists.

“Most of the sex toys would have to be in KY.”
I thought that was a necessary product for their usage;-)
When I was at IU, the Kinsey Institute seemed to be quite good at finding hte results they wanted to find. Sounds like they didn’t leave the midwest; except for Mormon country. And I thought the Mormons were against contraceptives?
Doug says
Yeah, but they’re very into having kids.

Those offshoot Mormon women who have been on Larry King look pretty satisfied, in a bored, robotic kind of way.
Rev. AJB says
Kind of like an inbred, backwater “Stepford Wives.”
BTW Doug, how do you pull out a quote from a post and put it in the neat, little fancy box?
varangianguard says
Thanks, Rev. AJB, for noticing.
Research. Another topic altogether. Most just revolves around “proving” that the sky is blue, not candy striped.
Doug says
By using the “blockquote” tag.
QUOTED TEXT

Rev. AJB says
And where do I find the “blockquote” of which you speak?
Doug says
I’m not sure I understand your question. If you wanted to quote something, just type “
” then paste in the text you want to quote and then close the box by typing “
”.
So,
I’m quoting some text.
becomes

You answered my question! You da man!
Doug says
I live to serve.
