Terry Record, the former Marion County deputy prosecutor, department of health attorney, and blogger is set for trial in September on the charges that he got drunk at a strip club before crashing into Jimmy Cash and killing him. There were some charges about marijuana in his blood which will likely be dropped because of problems with the evidence.
When we last knew of this story, before it faded from the headlines, Mr. Record was living in his parents’ house, under house arrest with an ankle bracelet on.
Now we still haven’t had a trial, and he’s practicing law in Evansville? Innocent until proven guilty, indeed.
Does anyone know what is happening with the trial? I noticed that Terry is on Linkedin and has his own firm. Did the trial start in Sept. 2008 or was it continued again?
He just plead guilty last week.
