The more this kind of thing comes up, the more I favor legalizing marijuana.

I have no problem with Kellogg dropping him, but I also have no problem if many of his other sponsors keep him.

It truly is absurd, how we treat and think of marijuana as being different than alcohol or tobacco. None of the three are especially good for you. All three pose certain health risks.
I think of all three the same way. I don’t use two of them, and the third, alcohol, I use very sparingly, probably twice a month. It’s because of my recognition of the risks involved with each.
Alas, we don’t treat our adults like adults when it comes to marijuana, and decreasingly with tobacco.
There are several items Libertarians have on the ‘hopeful’ list for the Obama Administration, the kind of things there is some manner of agreement between libertarians and the left. This is one of them. I truly hope this incident with Phelps further pushes the Administration to look at drug policy in the US, and helps us move towards legalization and de-criminalization, and an end to the War on Drugs.
