Just your friendly neighborhood killjoy reminding you it’s April Fool’s Day and so you ought to view news releases skeptically and watch out for your “funny” friends.
Nothing to do with this blog, but CBS announced that it is canceling “Guiding Light,” longest running show in broadcast history (72 years). “Guiding Light,” formerly “The Guiding Light” is the last (and now only) show on television that started on radio. I thought that the announcement was a big April Fool’s Day joke, but apparently the story is true.
