I see from the Legislative Council page that a meeting is scheduled for 6/16 at 2 p.m. I don’t see that an agenda has been posted.
The Legislative Council is established by IC 2-5-1.1. The Council functions as the administrative body for the General Assembly and also coordinates the study committees of the General Assembly. It consists of 5 members of the majority from each chamber and 3 members of the minority from each chamber. (So, 10 Republicans and 6 Democrats in this case.)
The members of the Legislative Council are:
Sen. Robert Garton, Chairman
Rep. Brian Bosma, Vice-Chairman
Sen. James Merritt Rep. William Friend
Sen. Thomas Wyss Rep. Kathy Richardson
Sen. Patricia Miller Rep. Tim Brown
Sen. David Long Rep. Eric Turner
Sen. Richard Young Rep. B. Patrick Bauer
Sen. James Lewis Rep. Dale Grubb
Sen. Earline Rogers
(And maybe there is one member yet to be named since the legislative council web page only seems to list 15 members? Also, it looks like maybe they’re using an old form on the documents. It looks like the Notice of the upcoming meeting has the old members listed — either that or Rep. Bosma is making an extraordinary show of bipartisanship by allowing Rep. Bauer to be the chairman.)
