Mary Beth Schneider, for the Indianapolis Star, is reporting that a date has been set for a debate between Republican primary candidates for the U.S. Senate.
The debate, sponsored by the Indiana Debate Commission, will have members of the public asking questions of the candidates: former Sen. Dan Coats; State Sen. Marlin Stutzman; former U.S. Rep. John Hostettler; plumbing company owner Richard Behney and financial adviser Don Bates Jr.
(Incidentally, I wonder how a journalist chooses the order for such a list. Random? Perceived likelihood of victory? Government officeholders before non-government officeholders? Glad I’m just a blogger where an acceptable answer is “whatever I feel like.”)
The debate will be on WFYI with moderator Amos Brown.

Their debaters are a cure for insomnia.
Pila says
Maybe they drew straws. :D
Akla says
What are they debating? Which one is more opposed to any Obama legislative or policy ideas–even though they may have supported them during bush? Are these guys still for eliminating medicare–remember pence and the other idiot waving that budget around that had no substance, only a cover page or two last year?
Let us know if they have anything of substance to say.
