Somebody out there in Twitter-land suggested posting something your thankful for every day until Thanksgiving. As a general rule, it’s probably not terribly necessary to share these things via social media, but it probably wouldn’t hurt any of us to remind ourselves of things we’re thankful for year-round.
Mine today:
I’m thankful for a nice, high, straight approach shot under a blue sky that checks up right next to the hole.
There is really quite a bit packed in there. Among other things, it means I have the leisure time and disposable income necessary to play golf. In my case, it also reflects parents who spent time with me, making sure I knew how to play golf (and knew that the long game is for show, the short game for dough.)

I’m grateful, Doug, that my long admiration of you and this blog discourages me from saying how much I despise Twitter and golf.
Doug says
Thanks for not mentioning it!
Doghouse Riley says

I’m grateful for your blog and the considerate posters. I have even stalked Todd to another blog! (Fence-post)
