Doghouse Riley provides an excellent summary of Gov. Daniels’ approach to education finance from 2004 – present. I’m linking it so that the rest of you folks can go enjoy if you’d like, and tagging it for posterity. If I had any gumption, I’d go and annotate the thing. But, on this Saturday morning, I’ll just say that it squares with my recollection of events.
There is a lot of buzz on the internet about the warmongers wanting to run Petraeus for President, with either Daniels or Romney for vice-president, what with the two of them being ex-governors who would be willing to take the heat for austerity measures which the next Republican administration in the White House, will be certain to enact. Yes, Daniels is being closely considered, and I think he will run.
