In jr. high (the fact that I attended a junior high rather than a middle school dates me a bit, but for clarity of the story let me definitely say it was during the Carter administration), we saw a late-1940’s movie about the fabulous world of 1960! It included flying cars, too.
I don’t care so much whether your daughter gets to drive a flying car, cool as that might be, but I think it would be nice if there were a few products that she will be able to purchase, flying cars or otherwise, made in this country when she starts buying big-ticket items. And yes, she is completely adorable!

Hopefully she’ll be able to drive a flying cars. When I was a kid, seems like we were promised flying cars by the turn of the century.
