Bloomington South bans Confederate Flag

According to this article, Bloomington South has banned students from wearing the Confederate Battle Flag on clothing, backpacks, etc. Apparently the symbol had caused disruptions in school. The Confederate flag typically causes problems because of the racial baggage it carries. To me, however, it simply represents treason committed against the United States of America.
