Ed Brayton has a nice post up entitled Rush Limbaugh’s Historical Ignorance in which Brayton debunks noted comedian, Rush Limbaugh’s, assertions about Thomas Jefferson and the separation of Church & State. The arguments put forth by comedian Limbaugh are pretty common by those who see church and state as two great tastes that taste great together, making the piece a good read even if one has no interest in Limbaugh’s comic stylings.
