I have the flu that’s been making the rounds. Darn it. Open thread, if you are so inclined.

You have the immune system of a lady bug! I have no idea why everyone thinks it’s ok to get sick and leave me to pick up the pieces. Suck it up! You don’t see me getting sick do you? Why? Because I won’t allow it! Mind over matter!
I taught school for 5.5 years – never got the flu. I think I may have gotten it once when I lived in the dorm, but other than that, I have a pretty good flu-free record.
The question is – how long before I go crazy being locked up with these sickos?
Between Rebecca teaching college students at Valpo, me being a pastor, our oldest in first grade and our second oldest in preschool…we are lucky if we come out unscathed. This year we had one stomach flu that hit all of us (one of those 24-36 hour ones).

Tamiflu 75 mg twice/day for 5 days if your symptoms started less than 48 hours ago.
And you can treat Amy and the kids with daily doses for ten days to prevent them from getting it from you…
Cole started this mess yesterday. Harper and I are stronger than these weak men!
Doug, I’m on your side. You need to take it easy. Remember, family your stuck with, friends you choose!
PS: Just between us, the wife is hammmering you on the blog. :)
We have a Harper down. Damn, another one bites the dust. Now I’m the only healthy Masson.
I don’t understand why everyone in my family keeps allowing themselves to be ill.
Amy’s story reads like a zombie flick. Don’t let them touch you!
I have it too.. from my damn students!

Hang in there Amy…
Yeah, we’ve all had it at my house. I think I hear our turtle coughing right now…
Anyway, I work in healthcare. I’m supposed to be immune to this stuff! Darn!!
