CNN is now projecting that Joe Donnelly will beat Chris Chocola in Indiana’s Second District. And now I see that the South Bend Tribune is reporting that Chris Chocola has conceded. My pleasure. Tuesday night was especially sweet, but sweeter still for those of us who worked on Joe’s 2004 campaign. In 2006 we had another chance; a chance to do it right and we did. My motivation the whole time was having to look Joe in the face every day at HQ. I, and many others, did it for him. I do not care if I never work on another election. I worked to get Joe elected because Joe is my friend first and foremost and a damn good Congressman-elect second.
