SB 126 – Merger of rural electric and telephone co-ops

SB 126 would allow the merger of one or more rural electric membership corporations (REMC) with one or more rural telephone cooperative corporation. The resulting corporation would have the rights and privileges of each.

It has been passed out of the House Committee and will now head to the floor.
