   It looks like this is over.

   The meeting [today, of the Indiana Recount Commission] was held to formally dismiss the recount petition filed for the District 15 race in four counties in Northwest Indiana, where Republican incumbent Donald Lehe had defeated Democratic challenger Myron Sutton by 27 votes in Election Day counting.

   By a unanimous vote, the three-member Recount Commission granted the dismissal requested by Democrats. In doing so, however, the commission also adopted a State Board of Accounts report that showed a net difference of one vote in the board’s official recount.

   I guess the Democrats decided to throw in the towel on this one.

   And rightly so, it looks like. It was close, but Lehe won and Sutton lost. However, I think asking for the recount in the first place was reasonable.
