Senator Steele is first in line this year to introduce a license plate bill. License plate legislation is endlessly important to legislators for some reason. Sen. Steele has introduced SB 10 which mandates that the BMV create an In God We Trust license plate for the disabled which is the same as the normal IGWT plate but with a wheelchair symbol.

I suppose the disabled ought to have the same right to ostentatious displays of piety as the rest of us; Jesus’ admonition to the contrary in Matthew 6 be damned.
