Todd Beeton at MyDD has a good post up on the effects for Senator Clinton on the “kitchen sink” strategy she adopted just before the Ohio and Texas primaries. Basically, while she managed to drive down Obama’s positives a bit, her own positives just tanked.
I could be misremembering, but even though I’ve favored Obama over Clinton for a while now, I don’t think it was until the advent of the Kitchen Sink that she morphed from Worthy Opponent to The Enemy. Beeton and the folks he quotes suggest that she go back to emphasizing strengths and focus the hard hitting on McCain instead of her fellow party-member. I don’t really think she can win that way, but, then I don’t think she can win the kitchen-sink way either.

I am handicapping this season as:
PA Clinton 55 – Obama 45 — each gets delegates
NC Obama 60 – Clinton 40 – each gets delegates
IN Obama 52 – Clinton 47 – again..
and INDIANA Matters.. it’s the state that makes the difference.
(Of course, Hillary will fight on in WV and KY and play the race card even more…)

A crushing defeat suffered by Clinton in North Carolina coupled with a narrow win in Pennsylvania could cause Clinton to suspend her campaign. Otherwise, Indiana could be very important since it seems to be the only state where there doesn’t seem to be a clear expectation of victory for either side.
