I guess I’ve just been indoctrinated with liberal values like women’s equality. That could have something to do with the fact that my mother and sisters are all intelligent, highly competent people and I grew up respecting them. This kind of patriarchal nonsense just grates on me.
Religion failed women. Even ten years ago some pasters were telling battered wives to “pray for guidance” and “well, just do what he tells you to do and you won’t get hit.” I know, my mom was one of them.
Wonder how many pasters are still saying that?
God is dead to me now. Think atheism!

God gave you a brain. Use it. When abuse starts the marriage covenant is already broken. Leave or your protection and pray later.
